About The WoodTeller

Where every piece of wood becomes a story worth telling.

The Maker

Oikonomou

Some people see wood as a material. I see it as a story waiting to be revealed. I’m Paris Oikonomou, the maker behind The WoodTeller — a small workshop dedicated to crafting solid wood furniture and objects that celebrate the beauty of natural materials.

Every piece of wood carries the marks of time: grain patterns, cracks, knots and imperfections shaped by years of growth. Rather than hiding these characteristics, my work aims to highlight them. The process is slow and intentional. Each piece is handcrafted, allowing the material itself to guide the final form. Inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, natural textures and minimalist design, The WoodTeller creates furniture that feels grounded, honest and timeless.

No two pieces are ever the same — because no two pieces of wood share the same story. Through my work, I simply help the wood tell it.

What Guides Us

Our Values

01

Craftsmanship

Every joint, every surface, every detail is shaped by hand with patience and precision. No shortcuts. No compromises.

02

Sustainability

We source responsibly, honour the material, minimize waste, and create pieces that outlast their maker.

03

Slow Living

In a world that moves fast, we choose deliberateness — because beauty cannot be rushed, and nothing worthwhile comes quickly.

04

Timeless Design

Drawn from Japandi, Scandinavian, and Mediterranean aesthetics — honest forms that age with grace.
